Two babies 12 and 14 months totally ignore each other?

I brought my baby to play with a 12 month old thinking they would have a great time together, but they could not have ignored each other more. There was no “parallel play”, there was not even a general acknowledgement that the other was in the room. I did not expect this at all! She interacts with other babies around her age. Could they just not like each other? 🤔

I bring my 16-month-old son to play gym every day and I’ve never really seen the kids at that age play together. They played near each other and can smile at each other, but as for interacting, not much. I think that’s pretty normal for that age

Wow weird! I have a 2 year old an he interacts with everyone always has. 
Maybe try telling them each others name or something
