mastitis temp spike , drop, spike

so last night I was feeling feverish and chills, I had a temp of 101.7, this morning my temp was down to 100.4 but I still went to first care to get antibiotics, I just switched my little girl to formula so I knew the cause and now I just want my supply to dry up, at first care my temp was down to 99.4 and the Nurse Practitioner that I saw told me what to do to dry up my supply and gave me antibiotics... she told me my temp should stay down and I would be good in a few days... well I just took my temp and its back up to 101.4, she told me if it spiked again to either go to my ob or go to the ER, I hate going to the ER has anyone elses temp spiked and dropped and spiked again?
