21, lookin 12.

Anyone else get super judged when you go out with your baby solely because you look like you’re still a teenager, even though you’re not? My entire pregnancy with my son, and even now when we go out together, people look me up and down like I’m some sort of three ring circus. I can only imagine how much worse it’s going to get as I start showing more with this pregnancy and when I have two babies under the age of one.

I went to my Obgyn today for a listen to the heartbeat (165, absolutely perfect 💕) and I was getting looks from the other patients in the office. I was there with my husband, our son, and my mother (she wanted to hear the heartbeat, it’s her second grandchild) and these women were just glaring.

I’m sorry, uninformed public, but I’ll be 22 in March and it drives me nuts that I’m getting shamed by strangers for something I haven’t actually done! 😭

It’s so much worse when I go out with my son and my mother, too, because then it really looks like I’m a child, when the reality is that I take care of my mother because she has brain cancer and needs help getting through her day.

I try not to acknowledge it, but I’d be lying if I said that it doesn’t get to me from time to time.

On the plus side, as least I’ll still look young when I’m older, right? 😂

Edit: This got so much more attention than I ever thought it would! There are so many comments that I can’t keep up with the replies anymore, but like I feel you all so much haha. Thank you for telling your stories and sharing pictures of you and your beautiful families/children!!
