We are TTC I am breastfeeding... any tips on upping our chances , been doing the daily fertility test and have not had a peak day yet ... did have a period last month so that’s when I started testing , I’ve read that it’s a lot harder to get pregnant while breastfeeding...

I track just to check. I ovulate a lot later with breastfeeding and it shortens my luteal phase (the time between ovulation and period).  This is actually pretty common and why some women have problems getting pregnant while breastfeeding. I would track a full cycle to see what your body is doing to get a better idea!

I hadn't gotten my period back when I conceived my second. My son turned one two weeks before my second was conceived. We didn't do OPKs or anything. We just had sex regularly starting at around 4 weeks pp.

Just keep testing for ovulation and baby dance during ovulation time. It took us a long time to conceive my daughter and I got pregnant twice while breastfeeding her once before my cycle even came back 8months pp (miscarriage) and again at 16 months pp. now 9 weeks pregnant and still breastfeeding her

Periods are often irregular for breastfeeding women. But it’s possible. I conceived 8 months into breastfeeding my daughter. Keep testing for ovulation.
