How to fix pouting?

My 4 year old (almost 5) is a pro pouter! She pouts anytime she doesn’t get exactly what she wants, which is often because she’s pretty demanding. I know it is normal for children to pout when things don’t go their way but I want her to learn that pouting isn’t going to fix anything. It’s very hard to have fun with her when she is constantly pouting. What can me and dad do to hopefully end this behavior? Please help!

I️ just ignore the pout.. it might take a while but eventually she will realize it is doing nothing for her lol

I wish my daughters only pouted, lol, she is the queen of whining and complaining. Some days she drives me absolutely insane. We talk about it with her a lot and sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn’t. If she’s tired or not feeling well it’s a million times worse. I think it’s a phase at this age, but keep talking to her about it, explain why you don’t like the behaviour and what behaviour you expect. Give her praise if you notice a time she would normally pout but doesn’t.
