Health Provider for Baby?

So I’m in the process of choosing a health provider for my baby. This will be my first baby and I just want what’s best for him. While looking over the list, I noticed my boyfriend’s health provider is listed as an option. I really like her, she’s super sweet and I’m very comfortable with her. However, she is only a APNP, but she does specialize in pediatrics. I’m just wondering if seeing a Pediatrician or family physician would be better?
