36 week ultrasound prediction

if you were able to get an ultrasound in your 3rd trimester, did your tech predict weight and due date? mine said that baby is 7lbs and if I went full term he'd be close to 9lbs!! but she also predicted that he wouldn't go full term. I just wanted to know that if I should take her prediction seriously or not? I was pretty sure I would be going past my due date because he is my first baby. He is in the right position and I'm dialated, although I know I can be dialated for weeks with nothing.
