Baby Coming to Work

So I’m due with my 1st August 11th. I get 6 weeks off paid and then plan on going back full time because I’m someone who likes to stay super busy. We live in a small town and if we were back in the city I’d definitely stay home since there’s so much more to do but my husband thinks I’ll just join more boards/committees (currently on 9 on top of work) if I don’t work and while we don’t need the extra income he figures I might as well work and continue to have my insurance fully paid for since my business offers that and I agree! I’m the president at our Chamber of Commerce and a few of my board members have suggested I bring baby with me and have a pack and play in my office while he’s still little. They said I should present to the rest of the board a work plan to get everyone on board... anyone currently down this or done it in the past? If so how long did they come to work with you, etc?
