Infection 🙄

Has anyone here dealt with an infected belly button piercing YEARS after having it pierced? I’ve never had any trouble with it and have had it at least 10 years. I took it out a few weeks ago because I was planning on changing it and somehow forgot and every time I’d go to do it I would get side tracked. Lol. Well once I put another ring in, it got infected the next day or so. I haven’t used any different types of materials for the ring or anything so I’m pretty confused. Anyway, any suggestions on how to get it to heal up quickly?
