30 weeks changed my due date?!😪

So had my MFM appointment due to GD and a few ofher things, well baby girl is doing GREAT! She is weighing in at 3 lbs 2 oz, 42nd percentile, and has a head of hair already!(: but they changed my due date to August 13 instead of the 10th

Cute! ☺ I don't understand the point of changing a due date by only a few days. What's the reasoning for that? I'm sure the baby doesn't change that much in half a week.

Seems odd they would move it back. I’ve had baby measuring 6 days behind at scans at 8 and 12 weeks and they never moved my due date for that. Recently had ultrasounds with baby in 13th and 19th percentiles, but they said the measurement of the cerebrum or cerebellum (pregnancy brain, can’t remember) is the most reliable one at this point for due date and that’s tracking for my due date, so they don’t change it. Hope all is well!
