What kind of diet were you put on while in the hospital after delivery?

All I want is subway after I deliver! Will they let my husband get me subway? I have GD but it’s controlled but I was overweight before.

you can have whatever after birth. GD usually goes away immediately after birth. they will test you. they like that you follow your GD diet u nbn til the tests come back but it's up to you. I didnt give a f#ck cause I wasnt harming babu anymore and sent my husband for pizza and taco bell. my tests came back confirming the GD was gone

They didnt put me on a diet. I had carne asada fries a few hours after birth 😂. I was also overweight.

they advised to stick with the GD diet for a few days to make sure my sugars were okay, but I could decided what I ate. So I ordered pizza to be delivered to the hospital after giving birth. lol. My blood sugar went sky high that night.
