What has the world come to?

Between watching life time movies and seeing news articles on Facebook and watching the news; the world has become such a dark, scary place. I currently have a 2 year old son and am 19 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and am terrified to have them leave my sight or to even go out in public anymore. Between shootings, kidnappings, etc. i just wish i could keep them safe in my arms forever 😞
