Need encouragement..possible csection to come and scared!

Being induced at 37 weeks due to baby possibly being growth restricted. I’m small so they can’t tell if it’s a placenta issue or he’s just genetically small. My doctor has warned me that growth restricted babies have a higher tendency of going into distress causing a C-section. Medical anything is my biggest fear, so especially a C-section terrifies me. I will do what’s best for my baby, and I know i have no control over this situation. So... Any encouragement about a C-section is greatly appreciated as I try to prepare myself mentally for the possibility.
