2 CM+ with regular contractions
Hey ladies,
Thursday, the contractions started but were spaced out and manageable... more of an annoyance. Then doctor told me that I am 2 CM dilated yesterday.
Since then, my contractions have been constant and growing in intensity. About 5 minutes apart with a 30 minute break every 8 hours or so. Sometimes so painful that I need held walking because my legs nearly give out or feel too heavy to lift. Contractions feel like a mixture of menstrual cramps and diarrhea stomach ache with back and leg pain. Unbelievable abdominal/pelvis pressure. Water has not ruptured and mucus plug still intact as far as I know.
I’m 35+4. When should I head to the hospital? I don’t want to trapped there for days with a slow labor if I can avoid it. And I’m definitely not trying to rush my baby girl because I know she’s currently preterm. This is my first pregnancy and don’t know what active labor should feel like. Any help please!
