PCOS/Infertility Scare
Here's some back story, also sorry for the long post.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in the end of 2016. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost 10 years now. It's been a long journey with what seems to be no end in sight. I take metformin among other things, and so far have done a bunch of texting. About a month ago my doctor found 3 cysts on my ovaries, 2 on my left, 1 on my right.
We leave to visit family Monday and I had some discomfort on my left side. It started getting worse as the days went by. Yesterday my pain was at an 8. I thought I was going to be sick and have to go to the ER. My stubborn self said just call your doctor and wait. They were able to get me in today once I got back to town. Apparently, one cyst wrapped around my ovary, but then unwrapped itself. I'm glad it did, but now I'm terrified. He said if it wraps around it again, the chances that it'll unwrap by itself again are slim. And if it does happen again, I'll lose the ovary. I guess I just feel like we can't catch a break. It's been so long and all I do is hope and pray, but I don't feel like it's going to happen for us.
Sorry to be such a downer, I'm just feeling really low right now. Thanks for taking the time to read my story. Wishing everybody luck, hope, and prayers!!
