Breast Feed or Bottle Feed? Opinions

From the start of my pregnancy I was 100% stuck on the idea of breast feeding. I'm now down to my last 2 weeks of pregnancy and I dont know what I want to do. I tried using a pump just to see how it goes, and I didn't like the feeling at all! 
I'm considering bottle feeding due to having barley any sleep and it's gonna be worse when baby arrives and would make it better for me and my partner. He doesn't work so we could rotate nights as to who gets up to feed our girl. 
But I'm also considering breast feeding because I just want that stronger bond with my baby. 
What are your ladies opinions?

I’m all for bottle feeding 🤷🏼‍♀️ at the end of the day it’s MY bday having to produce the milk and feed baby, nobody else’s. So ultimately I make the decision if I want to breast feed or not. Me personally I don’t like my boobs being touched in general so the thought of having a baby feed off of them is to much for me. I was bottle fed, my oldest sister bottle fed and my middle sister breast fed. As well as my husband and all of his siblings were breast fed. No one, except my monster, I mean mother in law 🙄, cares how anyone feeds their baby as long as he or she is being fed. You wanna breast feed? Cool we support you 100%, lets us know if you need help with anything or any privacy. You wanna bottle feed? Awesome, we support that and will help make you a bottle if your hands are full with baby! Why? Cause it’s no ones god damn business how your child is fed, that decision is between you and your so, but YOU get the final say. If you need support on EITHER decision you make, I will be here to support you!

Well I don’t think you’re supposed to use the breast pump while pregnant. But it’s ultimately up to you. I think you can bond quite well with baby even if formula feeding. I was pretty stuck on breastfeeding and pumping to bottle feed as well, but I’m also having second guesses about it. Both are good. Baby is nourished either way. You could always try it out and then have formula on hand.

I found breastfeeding was the way I got more sleep. If you bottle feed you have to get up and warm the milk and then feed the baby the bottle. Breast you just take baby out of bassinets and you can lie down with her and breastfeed. 
Now the thing with a bottle is heating up the breast milk can kill a lot of the good stuff in the milk. So I just recommend breast.

I pumped and hubby could take night feedings and it worked for us. Pumping gets easier once the milk is there

I couldn't breastfeed and my baby and I have plenty of a bond. Truthfully it's not that big of a deal. People make it such a big deal but breastfeeding for me caused so much stress when my supply didn't come in. My husband is Able to help and it's been fine for us:) i know how much he is getting and my kiddo ended up having allergies so it's been nice knowing exactly what's in it instead of having to eliminate from my diet. You can always try and then stop if you don't want to! It's not something you HAVE to stay committed to once you start.

With my first baby I breastfed and I will honestly say the first few weeks for me was tiring because of the cluster feeds but I did love the fact I didn’t have to get up and make a bottle. I really didn’t like the pumping and that’s probably because I wasn’t use to it since I didn’t start pumping until she was 6 months and then she weened herself off at 8 months and wanted a bottle. I learned a lot from the first baby and know what to do now with this one who I will be breast feeding as well. But overall whatever you feel comfortable doing. Even if you tried breastfeeding for the first month and not feeling it, that’s okay.

I breastfed my first baby for one year, till I got pregnant again and I definitely gonna try it again. Here some pros and cons from my experience; 
- I always had milk with me, so I didn’t need to worry about taking stuff with me (while being stuck in traffic for example) 
- always right temperature
- antibodies (my baby was never sick, could of course be just luck) 
- easy way to comfort my son 
- my son was very attached to me, so I could not go away for a night since he didn’t want to drink out of a bottle. 
- in the first two weeks it was very painful. 
These are my experiences but each woman experiences it differently. Good luck with your decision. My advice would be just to try it, and if it’s not working out for you then give the bottle.

Whatever you decide, just make the best decision for you. Me personally, breast all the way if you can. Your baby will get lots of antibodies and other good stuff from your milk. It’s also way easier at night to pop them on the boob then to worry about making bottles. Pumping before your milk comes in will likely not feel the same...I only pump once a day, so I don’t even have to use my pump much until my son eventually goes to daycare. I’d suggest at least trying it in the beginning. That way your baby will get the benefits from your colostrum and potentially milk and then go from there.

Breastfeeding because it’s cheaper and honestly breastfeeding made me get more sleep! Think about it when you have to get up make a bottle sterilize the water, heat the water, mix the formula. Or whip your tit out and go right back to sleep. 🤷🏻‍♀️ for me breastfeeding was 100% easier than bottle feeding
