Dreadlocks and toddlers?

My daughter has the worst hair ever! She has thick, wavy almost curly hair and I have to brush it at least twice a day or it goes completely wild! So I have given up because she hates her hair being brushed even though after a year she should be use to it being brushed twice a day and letting it go wild. She’s wild and free and I’m letting her hair match her personality. It’s only been about two weeks since I stopped brushing her hair and I’ve been helping the the dreads twist. I’m going to be getting some hair wax soon. AND YES I STILL WASH MY DAUGHTERS HAIR! She loves baths so much and I wash her hair every other day- it’s actually helped dread her hair.
