C Section Panic

Ugh, I just woke up from the most vivid nightmare about having a c section (incision was in my back and the baby wasnt ready so they stitched me up and left her in there, then the doctor was on vacation for a week 😣😓). I have very early IUGR and my chances of needing a c section grows each week. Of course, I know my nightmare is ridiculous but, can any experienced Mommas talk about the surgery experience? Not the recovery but the before and during of the operation to help ease some of this anxiety? Thank you!
