Being a young mom
• Being a young mom means you will get judged a lot.
• People who constantly think you are the worst mom who can’t take care of their kid(s) just because of your age
• People asking if you planned this or if it was an accident (there’s never a right answer to that one)
• Asking what your parents think about it
• rude looks from people who don’t know your situation and never will
Being a young mom is tough but it doesn’t mean we can’t take care of our kids on our own. I am 18 years old, my daughter will be 2 on the 18th of this month and I am pregnant with twins (and yes I did plan this pregnancy, just not twins) Does it hurt to get the looks and be judged? Yes. But I have learned that I am a great mother with a good job, a good husband, a wonderful home, and a very loved daughter who is well taken care of and happy.
If you are a young mom just remember you can do it and you are not alone 💜
