I’ve known my boyfriend for 3 1/2 years and have been together for a year. Shame on me, but I got curious and went through his phone and found a bunch of things I didn’t like, most of which happened before we were officially together. When I brought up some things I didn’t like, like him still being connected on social media with MANY of his past sexual partners and how it made me uncomfortable, he lied and said he didn’t have them on it. And multiple times! This was before he knew I had gone through his phone. I got angry and told him how I knew, and he STILL refuses to acknowledge and apologize for lying to me, and has even caused such a wedge that I moved out. Every time he lied to me I lost a little more trust and respect for him. Am I wrong for expecting him to be honest about things like that?
