I don’t trust my husband

I asked him to hold our six week old daughter until she fell asleep so that I could glue some pictures into a book for my parents. He said no problem as he was going to watch some videos on YouTube. I’m in the living room for all of ten minutes before I hear her screaming at the top of her lungs. This scream was the same scream she gave while getting shots. I’m literally into our bedroom in a second and I see my husband in bed, holding her over his pillow and she is bright red from screaming. I quickly took her from him and asked what happened while I soothed her. Apparently he put her on his chest and promptly fell asleep. He then rolled over and she nearly fell into the floor. He swears up and down that she didn’t hit the floor or her head in the nightstand and I believe him. If she did hit anything he would be the first to rush her to the hospital. She was quick to be soothed and fell asleep in my arms. I definitely can’t trust him to sleep with her and worry that he will fall asleep with her again. We are very lucky she is ok, this could have ended in a much more tragic way.

Edited to add, I’m definitely not giving him a hard time about it. That’s why I needed to vent here.
