Should I wait?

So I’ve been planning to propose to my boyfriend for about a month.  And I even decided to do it next week on his birthday.  
Now my best friend got engaged yesterday day and I don’t want her to think I’m stepping on her by getting engaged so soon after her.  I want her to have her moment.  
Should I continue he as planned or should I wait I month or so?  Am I over thinking this?

I'd continue to do it. Don't place your life on hold for others. You can keep it a secret for a little bit so as to not be perceived as stealing her limelight but yeah, I'd just do it. Good luck!!!

My Ex best friends boyfriend purposely proposed to her a week before my engagement party . And clearly said we wanted to he engaged for your party . You can see where I got super annoyed about that . I felt like they stole my thunder especially when my party came up and everyone was talking about there engagement and not focusing on my engagement party . So to conclude I would wait a little longer .

Totally up to you , if you feel it’s time then go ahead . If she’s your best friend you can always talk to her & let you know this was coming way before she got engaged .
