Paxil

Today my doctor prescribed me generic Paxil. I have been dealing with anxiety for about 10 years. I coped well up until about November after some major events , and now these last 2 weeks were very bad, I was having a panic attack almost daily! Today I went to see my pcp and he prescribed me the Paxil and told me to come back ASAP if I need Xanax to get me through the next few weeks until it really kicks in. I want to try and not take the Xanax but don’t know how well I’ll handle these next few days. Give me your feedback on Paxil; side effects. Strengths and anything els eI might should know
