Find out gender or wait?

Expecting our third child, blessed with a son and a daughter. My husband wanted to find out at the birthday and I’d rather at 2 trimester scan. He said there are few surprises we have in life, I’m just really impatient. :) So what would y’all do find out the gender or wait till the birth?

I just don’t understand how finding out at 20 weeks isn’t still a surprise? I mean it’s huge news whether baby is arriving with the news or the doctor is revealing it. For me, seeing my daughter for the first time is a big enough surprise for birth day. I feel more bonded now knowing she is a she and no longer an it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wait!!! You will never get that moment back when you feel it in the delivery room. It is simply amazing. No ultrasound, gender reveal... nothing can top that moment!! We are waiting again with baby #2.

We are also waiting till birth. It is hard but I think it's more difficult for everyone else in our lives who want to know..lol

I could never wait. With all of my pregnancies I always felt like the initial surprise was finding out we’re pregnant, then halfway through we get the excitement of finding out if it’s a boy or girl, then at the very end we get to actually meet our little one, which to me is surprise enough. I respect the decision to wait, I just personally could never do it. I’m much too anxious!

I have a boy and a girl as well and I always said I wasn’t gonna find out on the third one but now that my scan is next month I have to know! My husband wants to know as well so it makes it easier.

Our last baby was going to be our surprise tiebreaker we had a boy and a girl and we were going to wait unfortunately life had other plans and we lost “him” we never did find out what he was we just dub him a him. It was followed by 4 more very early losses. I’m currently 12wk and some change pregnant with twins and we will be finding out what we are having for our last babies. Good luck to you
