Do both of you work full-time?

Question

If so, what does your day look like?  What time do you drop off and pick up your baby from day-care?
I'm wondering if I should be working... but I'm just not sure what it would be like or how much time I'd have with my baby. I don't think I could handle putting her in daycare 10 hours a day and only seeing her for barely an hour in the morning and two hours at night. How do you get shopping, making dinner, cleaning, chores, everything else done if you work full time and have a baby?

Yes!  I wake up at 5:00. I shower, get both of our lunches ready and make myself a smoothie. At 6:00 I was up my husband and my daughter. He showers. I feed and dress her. Then she plays while I finish getting ready (makeup, hair, etc.) Then I feed her yogurt and my husband takes over when he’s ready. I get to work by 7:00.  My husband drops my daughter off around 7:30. He gets to work by 9:00. I’m a teacher so I stay at school until 4 and then pick her up. Her day care is right near my work. I bring her home, feed her and make dinner then my husband gets home around 6:15/6:30. We eat, bathe her and put her to bed.

My husband was working 4a-11a 6 days a week and I work 3p-12a tues-fri + on call weekend hrs every 5wks(hubby lost his job and is currently a stay at home dad but we did this sched for 2.5yrs). We have a 1yr old and 2yr old. Everything gets done sat-mon although now hubby is taking care of the house while I work. No day care which is awesome!!

My husband and I both work full time day shift. He works 7-3:30 and I work 8:30-5:00. I drop our 2 year old off at daycare or my dads at 8:00 and he picks her up at 4:00. I see her from the time she wakes up to 8:00 and then from 5:30-8:30 in the evening and we see her all weekend long. She likes daycare. She’s an only child so this gives her someone to play with other then adults lol. She also is more excited to see us during the week since she’s gone from us, where on weekends she wakes up and is less excited to see us lol. We shop on weekends she finds it fun and she “helps” us clean thinking it’s a game.

My SO works full time out of the house, I work full time at home but my employer requires children go to daycare (and I prefer it that way, can’t get anything done with a child here).
SO leaves before I get up. I get up at 6:40, brush my teeth and wash my face and all. I make baby’s breakfast then wake him up around 7:00. Change him, feed him, brush his teeth, and we try to be out the door by 7:30. I take him to daycare then drive back home for work. I do all prep for baby’s lunch, my lunch, my breakfast the night before.
SO picks baby up from daycare at 4, brings him home and entertains him until I’m done work at 4:30. Then we play, eat dinner, and go on a walk. Bath time around 7:15, and baby’s in bed by 8pm.
I workout during my lunch break, and my SO works out when I get off work. We clean on Sundays (or if I have time on my lunch break) and we all go shopping together on Sundays. I wish I got to spend more time with my son but I do what I gotta do. Daycare’s been really great for us.

We both work. Wake up at 415, get ready, son wakes up at 6. Husband drops him off at daycare. I leave house at 6, work 7-4 (I usually skip out early because I can). Pick up my son around 430. Come home, dinner, play time, dogs, clean. Husband home by 545. We eat at 6. Baths, etc. Son in bed at 7. Husband and I in bed by 8, asleep by 9.  Though I'm giving birth tomorrow... I'm worried we will get less sleep 😄
