Is your mother in law evil

I wear a size XL just the same as her some larges I fit right into and recently she bought me shirts that were 2x and they were pretty much dresses onn me along with pants that were 2x that I put on and came out of the bathroom and was able to still wear my pants underneath and have plenty of room for my daughter to fit withe and she said they look so good I am so confused on how something that will fall off of me if I take three steps looks good on me? Yesterday she told me that she had ordered me a dress that was a 4x so I am so frustrated on why she thinks I wear a 4x and she doesn't she said yeah I ordered my dress in XL I don't know if she is trying to make herself feel better because I am a little thinner than her but I am so lost for words and I am not a rude person at all ,I am thinking of just saying I have way to many clothes and don't need any more....any ideas why she would do this ??
