I usually hate going to the grocery store

After a long day of work (and already going to the store three times this week) I got that dreaded text from my husband that we need to go to the store tonight. Yes, he could go alone, but because of our work schedules I try not to say no to doing even the little things together. It still doesn’t mean I don’t dread going to the damn grocery store!!

Well we were at the store and honestly I was checked out mentally. Work was tough today. I noticed he stopped pushing the cart and just stood there. I asked what was up and he said where are you? Because you aren’t here? I told him I was sorry and that I was just tired mentally.

He proceeded to pull me in, hug me in the middle of the aisle for a few minutes, not letting go. Then he looked at me, kissed me, and told me “ti amo tanto, vita mia” (he is from Italy, and it means I love you so much, you are my life).

I forgot for a minute that we were even in the grocery store lol! My heart melted and all the stress from today day faded away. I am so grateful for the amazing person I get to spend everyday with 💕
