Menstruation is scary

So ladies I’ve been having a period that has been going for the past three going on four week. The past three days I have been having intense heavy bleed with blood clots and today soaked through three tampons and a pad within 30minutes, has anyone had similar, I do have an apt with my dr tomorrow, but want to hear feedback also I had a large clot tissue looking thing pass during this time.
