I’ll be in 9th grade next year. I really need advice please. I am excited but really nervous. I was new to my middle school in 7th grade, so I know most of the grade, but not everyone. I still feel like I don’t really fit in or made any real friends. I have some friends, but no close friends because everyone already had best friends. The high school that I’m going to, it’s going to be everyone that’s in my grade right now, that’s it. I see a lot of people telling me to make new friends in high school, but how? Our middle school school is divided into about 3 major categories (at least that’s how I see it). The popular people (that I will never ever talk to because they make fun of me and are intimidating), the weirdos (me, my friends, and my friends friends), and the groupies (people that I always see only in groups, usually somewhat friends with popular people, but not quite popular). I know everyone in my own “group”, but I’m not really friends with many of them, more of acquaintances. I am currently trying to become closer friends with all of them. I needed to rant a little. Anyway, if anyone has high school advice, I really need it!
