What do I pack??

I’m a first time mom and I’m 35 weeks but I’m not sure what to pack for me or my son for the hospital, can someone help me get an idea!!?

I haven't had a baby yet but due in August I had a friend have hers back in February and she said to pack light the hospital gives you almost everything you need I'm just taking two extra outfits the hand mittens and a change of clothes for me a charger and a blanket for him plus baby lotion and extra underwear but she said almost everything they list on here is a waist of space and won't need the rest

I only used face wash wipes, my going home outfit (sweats & a t) & baby's. Hospital provides everything else. Take extra empty tote bags to fill up with all the hospital freebies.
