Help missed period

I was on birth control for almost 3 years. I stopped taking it before it was time because I had missed a few pills. My last period was May 3rd- 5th and today is June 19. I have not had another period. My nipples are tender and have been off and on for 3 days now. I took a pregnancy test from dollar tree and it have evaporated lines (both lines) on it ( no color at all but it was supposed to show the pink/red lines if pregnant or not). Are my symptoms side effects of stopped birth control?
