Legal help?
Anybody know anything about Labor laws??? Well I'm in a very sticky situation. My current job is switching over to us employees actually working for the state, BUT they don't want to offer us any benefits. So this way, they can save money and can terminate our contract without any reason at any time. I have a 1yr old and there's plenty of doctor visits. Since they are putting in our contract aa "temporary" I wouldnt be eligible for sick leave, vacation time, or holiday pay. Anyone know if there's ANY WAY that I can probably negotiate, like what to say. I am DESPERATE. The deadline to give them my answer is June 21st. Help please.
