How to make curly hair come back?

When I was a kid I had the most perfect curls like goldilocks and as I’ve got older I’m my hair is straight.
If I cut it short will curls come back or is there any way

A trim can help! Try finding products without sulfates and more natural.  Only wash with shampoo a couple times a week but otherwise only use conditioner or don’t wash it if you can go without.  Use a leave in conditioner and a curl cream, along with a curl gel (all without sulfates of course).  The gel will hold the moisture in so you can sleep the the gel cast in a silk bonnet/scarf or on a silk pillow case or wait till it dries then scrunch it out. Or use a diffuser.  Also dry your hair after washing it with a cotton T-shirt in a scrunching motion!  Continue all this for at least a month without straightening or dying and they should come back!  I use Cantu hair products and Herbal Essences gel.
