Gallstones during pregnancy
Hey ladies!
I’m 8 weeks 5 days and have been hospitalized twice from excessive vomiting. During my second trip they did some ultrasounds and realized I have gallstones, a ruptured cyst and a UTI. They believe the gallstones are why I keep throwing up so often. They said there is nothing they can do for me and they refuse to provide any additional medicine until I’m at least in 2nd trimester. Which I understand but it is still frustrating when I’m throwing up 5 times a day even with the meds.
I’m able to eat cantaloupe, watermelon and grapes OCCASIONALLY and keep it down that’s what’s been sustaining me. However I’ve lost 5 pounds in the last week alone from throwing up so often.
How can I manage this all while managing a 3 year old? I’m struggling really hard and feel my anger with him is getting worse and worse because I’m so miserable. I know he doesn’t understand but I’m just really struggling.
Thanks in advance!
