Pap results?

How long did It take for you to get your Pap smear results? and were they normal or abnormal?

Usually takes about 2 weeks for mine to come in. At my doctor they only call with the results if something showed up. I've had 1 abnormal pap and it's because I had a vaginal infection I didn't know I had. Got the infection cleared up and my next pap was normal.

I had mine on the 7th and got a call on the 18th it was abnormal they think i have cervical cancer

I had my pap on February 3rd. When I saw my doctor again on March 2nd, he said that everything looked good with nothing to worry about. I recieved my letter from Alberta Health on March 7th saying I was clear of HPV.
This may be different as I am in Canada, but I think if they find an issue with your results they will call you as early as possible to discuss.

I didn’t get mine till after a month on my second prenatal appt but i heard no news means good news so i didn’t bother calling them but when i got mu results i asked them when they recieved it they said 2-3 weeks after the procedure.

Mine take at least a day to come back, but I've had to wait a week before too. Mine have always been normal.

Mind were up within a day. I had slight bacterial vaginosis, which is common in pregnancy. My doctors chose not to treat it as it usually goes away on its own (it did). Otherwise, normal.
