Faking a language barrier to get free coffee

This YouTube video is old, but it showed up in my recommended videos today. I got a few screenshots, but they don’t really explain very much. I’ll post the screenshots and finish explains at the bottom

Basically, this guy goes to Starbucks drive through and makes an order in English. When he gets to the window, he pretends to not understand or speak English. All the screenshots with subtitles are where he was speaking Spanish. So he pretends like he doesn’t understand the baristas, and acts like they made him the wrong drink. He was never rude to any of the baristas, but ended up driving away with a free coffee every time because the baristas think they messed something up. Is this acceptable?

Edit*** the only reason I’m asking is because some of the comments were surprisingly supportive. Most were actually making fun of the baristas for struggling to help him
