Thyroid Issues?? Help please!

Has anything had issues with their thyroid and infertility? I went to my OBGYN because my cycles have been off, extremely heavy, and I have had bleeding every two days between cycles. They tested my thyroid levels and my TSH level was low at 0.413 (normal level is 0.45-4.5). I was referred to an endocrinologist and they repeated all my tests and this go round, my TSH level was 0.6, which puts me in the normal range. I am just so confused at how this has changed and why. We thought we may be getting some answers to our fertility issues, but feeling like we are now back at square one.

0.4 to 0.6 isn’t that huge of a jump- you are in an almost normal range so that’s good! Also for fertility, normal range is between 1-2 not 4.5. I was put on meds when my TSH was 4 and even when I was at a 2.6 i was unable to get pregnant but at 0.8 I was pregnant!  It fluctuates some and when you do get pregnant it has a tendency to go up throughout the pregnancy. Personally, I’m most comfortable with my TSH being right at 1. When it’s even just a little high (1.6-2) I have an issue with weight gain and depression. I bet that if you can get around 0.8-1 you will notice you feel better too! I would absolutely see the endocrinologist and get to the bottom of what’s going on and find out want to do to get your TSH to a 1!
