is glow ever wrong about AF?

I've been ttc for about 2 years. I downloaded glow to help me track AF and when I ovulate, but the past 4-5 months it's been wrong about when AF is supposed to be here. if it's wrong guessing AF, could it be wrong about when I'm ovulating? AF always comes sooner then glow says and I update glow everday.

never right for me.. ttc since mc in nov and always off with either ov day  (as I track) and also my period .. so when I think I could be preg my period is just later.. total mind fuck.. currently 4 nearly 5 days late and bfn.. last week again was few days later than expected.. so get opk test strips loads of them and test 2x a day.. also another dilemma... I normally use the Ebay test.. but ran out and this month thought I'll try buying a proper brand ( first response) but they only have 7 test which I timed with glow app 7 day fertile window but again the fertile window on glow was off and I didn't peak and ran out of test so don't know when I ov..ahhh hard work this ttc crap lol

Programs like this are based on predicted cycle length, but the idea that a woman has the same cycle length every month is a myth. Yes, some ladies get their periods right on schedule, but it’s also normal not to! Cycle lengths can be different month to month and ovulation can occur on days you wouldn’t expect by looking at dates. I recommend detecting ovulation by observing your cervical fluid instead. Egg white cervical fluid is a tell tale sign of ovulation. The calendar can be misleading and keep you from timing sex properly.

Yes Glow can be wrong absolutely. When I was tracking my cycles Glow was always 2 or so days off. The most accurate tracking app for me was the MyDays app. It was always spot on with my weird cycle if anything maybe 1 day off one in a while. I loved it cause that’s what I used to track my ovulation

Yeah it’s just an estimate/guess. The dates change based on the info you input. If you have irregular periods at all it definitely won’t be correct.
