Breaking up method ?

Should I breakup with him through texting or call ? I’ve been waiting for him to call me so I can breakup like that but..it’s been too many days. He said he is trying to get hotspot to call because that’s the only way he can call. Mostly he can text. I wanted to do it through call because that’s more appropriate. Plus he only texts me once or twice a day. What do you guys think ?
