Can you save a relationship after someone cheats?

Question

Recently discovered things on my fiancées phone that I consider to be cheating.
Such As:
-provocative/nude photos
-sexts/messages/devising to meet up 
-with multiple girls 
Since I love this person a lot, and we live together, I have made the decision to try and work things out.
I was looking for ideas on how to save our relationship, or success/unsuccessful stories on infidelity in your relationship.

Sorry, but your relationship is done for. If he really loved you he wouldn’t have done it in the first place. He will change for a little while but he will go back to his old ways. They always do.

I will tell you my experience and then you can decide yourself if it’s worth it or not. I was with my now ex for five years then we moved together and i started noticing his strange behavior and eventually found out that he was cheating on me, i was angry and all that and decided to work things out with him. The first months were great, he was nicer and he was all about me feeling better and building the trust towards him, eventually he did it again and we were back to point zero so i just left but that was after I wasted years of my precious time trying to forgive him and trust him only for him to ruin the trust again! I could have done so much for myself during that time but nope i just lost a part if myself chasing after hope that maybe he will change! Honey leave! You will never everr look at him the same again even if you are sure now that you love him and you wanna work it out, you will still have doubts and trust issues. Leave and heal!

Why would you try to rebuild a relationship when the trust is shattered? I couldn’t do it nor would I waste my time trying because why would I want to be with someone I don’t trust anymore?

This was my husband and I. He may have an addiction that not even he realizes. A wonderful book for him to read is “Every Mans Battle” and for you “Every Heart Restored”. My husband and I are Christians and this was a huge struggle for me because I hold tight to our vows and he broke them. These books helped us. I am still working on my forgiveness of him a year later, but he has shown nothing but love, compassion, and progress. He’s even more in his faith now. He has an app on his phone called “covenant eyes” which block anything bad, our pastor is the administrator of his account and can see what he try’s to access which hasn’t been anything really. I didn’t force him to get the app. It did it out of the love he has for me because he saw how bad he hurt me. I have complete access to his phone. We don’t even watch tv shows or movies with any nudity in it or sexual content. If there’s a scene where it gets risky he looks away. This is out of respect for me. We as a couple have grown. I don’t control him which is what I’m sure some people are thinking, but just like any addiction, you have to prevent opportunities.

I was asking a similar question not that long ago. I caught the man I could see myself marrying using Tinder. He’d done the same thing in his last serious relationship too, but I wanted to believe we could get through it if he wanted to. He didn’t want to badly enough and now that I’ve had some time to see his true colors, I’m relieved I didn’t end up marrying him, because looking back I can see the relationship had so much anxiety way before I even found out about the cheating. I just never felt 100% secure in his feelings for me, and now it’s clear why. Idk if maybe you’ve felt the same way, and have made excuses for it in the same way I did.
From what I’ve heard, there’s really only one type of infidelity situation you can come back from: if it happened ONCE, they come clean about it to you, and the person feels so guilty that they’ll never do it again. When it has happened multiple times and/or with multiple women, it was being hidden, and they only feel bad because they got caught, then no. I don’t think you could come back from that. If you still want to try, it would require intensive counseling and your fiancé to be 100% transparent and on-board with changing. Just from the facts you gave, I think it will only end in more heartbreak for you.

I cheated on my husband when we were dating. It was the worst thing I ever did and I feel bad for it everyday. Even if I didn't feel bad when I did it. He found out after we were married. He decided we could work it out and we have. I have been faithful and love him so much. I am so thankful that he decided to stay with me after all I put him through. To me it all depends on if he is willing to make it work and change.

I’ve always stuck by this. I think I got it from a book I read years ago. Does the good outweighs the bad. Are there more advantages in the relationship then disadvantages? If so, I think there is a way to save it. If you still trust him, just try to work on each other. Tell him how you feel and maybe try and find out why he made the decision to do that.

It comes down to trust. Do you think you’ll ever be able to trust him again? Yes? Okay, then give it a shot. No? You’ll always be wondering or suspicious? Then that’s it. You can’t have a relationship without trust.

My husband talked to two females, and sent a dick pic to one. He broke up for 2 1/2 weeks. He admitted everything he did to me was wrong. He hasn’t done anything like that for almost a year now. It depends if they learn from it and feel bad from doing it. Also depends if you can trust him again. I learned to trust my husband again. I fought tooth and nail to make myself trust him. And I know for a fact he isn’t cause he has a bad habit of not deleting texts and Facebook messages. I also have his passcode
