Best birth control pill? (Your experience)

So I had a slip up a few weeks ago and took a plan b pill. I’ve been bleeding off and on (light to heavy then light again) for the past couple weeks as a result of the plan b pill.
In order to avoid ever having to take plan b ever again, I made an appointment for Monday to get on some birth control.
Do you ladies have a pill that you prefer/had little to no side effects with?

I'm currently on a pill (Microgynon 30), and the only side effect to me is constantly feeling nauseous. It lasted for about 3 months, especially at the start of a new packet, so after my period. I was only ever sick about 6 times within that time, but the 'I'm going to throw up in 3 seconds' feeling didn't let me sleep at night. Mornings were awful too. Now, I have no side effects whatsoever.
I do recommend a pill if your side effects are bearable, because they mostly vanish very quickly. I'd recommend to take it about 5-6pm each evening if you can, so you sleep the sickness away!

everyone reacts differently. you have to do the hard work of figuring out what works for your body yourself. your body and hormones are unique to you. it doesnt matter what works for other people or even people who are very similar to you. even siblings may not have the same results
