Transition to crib?

Was wondering when everyone transitioned their babies into a crib from a bassinet? My son is almost 3 months old and I'm wondering when to switch him. He is on the smaller side currently 10lbs. He doesn't co sleep or sleep in our room so that wont be an issue just wondering what age roughly. TIA! 😊

I transitioned my son pretty early at a month & half. He was too big for the bassinet & sleeping through the night. I just started off putting him in there for naps & then eventually when he was comfortable after a couple days I put him in there at night & he’s been sleeping there ever since.

My daughter is 3 going on 4 months and I've been asking myself when a good time would be... 
They say to try at 6 months so I think I will 
I'll start prob giving her naps in there and then laying her down to sleep at night hopefully that will make it easier

Our boy went at 8 weeks- he outgrew the bassinet

I moved my daughter to the crib in her own room when she was 11 weeks old. I went back to work when she was 12 weeks old and wanted her transitioned over by then.
