Single mothers with epilepsy?

So I’ve had Epilepsy since I was 11, I got pregnant when I was 17 and dropped out of high school (I know that’s NO excuse) but I was still with my sons father and he was a welder and I decided to go travel with him and I just never got my GED and of course I was young and thought we would last forever. Well know I’m back at home with my mom, I have no job, my child’s father doesn’t help out. I need to start somewhere but don’t even know what to do. I need to do something for a career. I need some advice :((

Get that GED! It isn't too difficult of a test, but classes are available if you need them (sometimes they're free). It isn't impossible to find a job without it but having it will open up more options. Restaurant work is usually available and if you end up at a more popular chain in your area the tips should be enough to live on (for now, until you can find something better, which you will.)

Can your mom watch your child if you find a night job. Places like Wal-Mart or even some restaurants will hire for night work. Your main priority should be getting your GED or diploma from adult school. Try to find online courses so you can stay home and not pay for child care. You also need to get child support paperwork into court so you can get some help with your child. Go into your local social service office and see what kind of help they can give you for your situation. Good luck girl!
