Zoloft?

I have been prescribed Zoloft for some post partum anxiety/ stress. Not feeling depressed at all, just really overwhelmed with baby and 2 year old! They increased me to 100mg. Anyone have experience with Zoloft of similar meds? I hate having to be on something and it’s not helping a whole lot yet. Any advice or ideas?

I take 50 mg of Zoloft daily and it has changed my life for the better. I struggle with severe anxiety and depression and once the Zoloft kicked in (it took a week for me, but for some it can take 3-4), it felt like the first day of summer. I’m able to deal with stress and anxiety so much better now. Give your body time to adjust to the medication. It’s so worth it!

Keep in mind everyone is different! You’re going to get a TON of different opinions and views. With that being said my daughter has been on Zoloft and it’s changed her life completely! She went from failing school, being suicidal with tics and crippling anxiety so bad she couldn’t even be in a room alone as a preteen. She now has straight A’s, excelling in sports, has friends and can be home alone by herself every now and then. I wasn’t a huge believer in it and always wanted to find another way but I stopped being selfish and tried it. I’m glad we did!
I’ve suffered with extreme PTSD, anxiety and depression. I just had my third baby and today I started Zoloft. I’m finally giving in and hoping it’ll change my life for the better as well. I need to TRY for my babies and not just me.

I've been on Zoloft for a month for ppd.  I noticed a difference but it could be my hormones adjusting also, not sure.  But I just started having sex again and noticed I can't orgasm.   Going to ween myself off and hope the ppd doesn't come back.

I was on Zoloft after my first pregnancy. I didn't like it at all, I got off of it & went the more natural way of helping anxiety and depression.

it's all trial and error. If it doesn't work let them switch you to something like lexapro

It’s been a game changer for me. I was on lexapro for 15 yrs before finally speaking up and saying it’s not working. They started me out on 25 mg and I only take half of a pill. The first dose was instantaneous relief ❤️
