Very clingy 19 month old

My daughter is super, super clingy to me. She’s been at home with me since birth, and has always been clingy, but it’s getting worse now. I can rarely leave the room without her crying and trying to climb the gate. I have to turn on the tv for her in order to cook or do dishes. She is perfectly fine entertaining herself when I’m not doing anything. When we go out to the park she will play by herself or other kids, it’s just at home. Husband and I have talked about having another baby soon, but at this rate I’m not sure if I could be pregnant and deal with my daughter always needing me to hold her. Help mamas!
