How are you beating the heat?

It’s about to be in the high 90’s for the next five days or so up here in New England. We have no AC and I have a 13 month old. I am wondering how we will beat the heat? We have no hose or water toys. But I was thinking of buying a cheap hose and inflatable toddler pool perhaps.

I know we could go to a museum or somewhere with AC, or perhaps the beach (although the beach just seems so hot when I think of going there).

Anyone have any creative ideas on water play at home?
