That happened to me I had some spotting so I went in for an ultrasound around 7 weeks empty sac no heart beat they tried to schedule a d&c; .... I asked for more time and they ran another blood test my levels had not doubled but they were slightly higher they did another ultrasound at 9 weeks and there was that sweet little flashing light .... he’s almost ten now 💖
So again dr said i had an empty sac at 6 weeks. here is my 10 week ultrasound today with a new ob. yay UPDATE: Just got the sex of the baby and its a boy!! yay

that's why they're not supposed to ultrasound until at least 8 weeks. sack will almost always show as empty before.

(Con't) I scheduled another appointment for when I was supposed to be 10 weeks (earliest my OB would do) and prayed that I was still carrying my baby in the meantime. Finally my appointment rolled around and as soon as she put the wand on my belly I saw my little peanut with his heart beating away. It felt like a 100lb weight was lifted off my chest. Bub was measuring at 8w 4d that ultrasound so I realized I just ovulated late my last cycle and that's why my first ultrasound showed an empty sac, I was too early for baby to be visible!

When I went in to confirm my pregnancy I thought I was 7 1/2 weeks along because I went by my period, ultrasound showed an empty sac measuring 5 weeks and my heart literally sank. I cried in the office and on the way home because I was convinced that it was a miscarriage.
I miss carried in march but with that one my dr was telling me that the pregnancy wasnt good cause at 6 weeks there was no baby then at 7 weeks they found baby i miscarried at 8 weeks with this pregnancy i got ealry ultrasound due to how close i got pregnant after miscarriage and at 5 weeks they found baby and heart beat baby was measuring less then 5 weeks then a week later went for another and baby was measuring 6 weeks 5 days im not almost 11 weeks.picture is my baby at 10weeks.

every dr is different our told us no intercourse for 6 weeks 1 af went by and right after is when I got pregnant. after the 6 weeks went by we asked the dr and she told us it was fine to start ttc when we felt ready
My ultrasound at 5 weeks 3 days. Empty sac, dr ordered me to come back at 6 weeks 3 days... hoping to see my baby!!

What a blessing. Last year June 26th I had a d&c; at 8 weeks because they tole me I had an empty sack meassuring at 5 weeks. Hubby and I were extremely sad but today we are happily blessed and almost 18 weeks pregnant. I'm glad you shanged to a new doctor! Praying for a blessed pregnancy the rest of the way
its funny sometimes. I had a scan at 5weeks 2 days as I was bleeding and they just saw a fetal pole. told possible miscarriage so wait and see. Scan 2 weeks later and bam little baby and heartbeat, he is now 3. I need an early scan next preganancy as I have had an ectopic since (lost one tube) so need to check location early. best wishes all
