No Heartbeat 6 weeks?

Question

So, today I went to the doctors office for my first ultrasound for this pregnancy. And they told me the sac is measuring 5 weeks and 3 days and the baby is measuring 6 weeks and 2 days. Im not even sure how that is possible. On top of that there isnt a heartbeat yet. So I was wondering if anyone has been in a situation like this and still have a successful pregnancy.
P.S the doctor told me to just wait another 2 weeks to see what is going to happen.

With my second daughter this happened. My sac was measuring at five weeks six days and no heartbeat. I according to them should have been seven weeks. They sent me over to maternal and fetal medicine for an apportionment a week later. Guess what baby was in there heartbeat and all. She turned out to be a ten pounder. Don’t stress about it honey, I know it’s harder said than done.
