Opinions on IUD?

Hello everyone! 
Today I just went to the gynecologist and I’ve decided to get the kyleena. I just recently turned 18 this month and have only taken birth control pills. I will only be getting it at the end of the month though, so I’m curious to know if there’s anybody here who can share their IUD experiences. I would truly appreciate it!

I have the copper IUD! I love it so far.
No problem like I read on many posts, no weird spotting or bad stuff happening. Just a couple cramps, and nothing since! 
Insertion wasn’t painful for me. I know it is for many people (I’ve never had children)

I have had the Skyla IUD for over a year and the first year i bled every month for 2 weeks straight. I also get frequent infections. Most people don’t have any problems with the IUD and it works wonders but some people like me have side effects. Luckily my doctor gave me medicine for my infections and it also reduced my periods to about a week a month. Most people don’t have a period at all after a couple months on the IUD. Hope this helped a little bit!
