I hate the word survivor

I hate when people tell me I’m a survivor because when I was raped he didn’t kill me and I got thru it alive.

But I didn’t I didn’t survive because that day something inside me died and it’s never returned that spark that I used to have.

So no I’m not a a survivor and I never will be.

I recently stumbled upon a Facebook page that was a closed group about the #metoo moment and I thought why is this private why do we as women sit here and try to hide away from men and not spread more awareness that this behaviour is not acceptable.

Why do men not understand that when they rape women not only is it raping them but it’s raping there soul. Stripping away there independence. And changing them for the worse.

Together as women we need to combat rape and sexual assault and the stigma around it!!!!!
